PURPOSE:To improve workability by setting an address memory corresponding to a cylinder placing part, and storing the gas charging quantity every address of the memory to control a solenoid valve in a device for automatically charging gas such as LP gas in a gas cylinder carried onto a turntable. CONSTITUTION:Electronic scales 3, 4 are installed at the carry-in path 1 and carry-out path of a turntable A, and the measured signals are inputted to a control panel A carried-in cylinder T is transferred by the turntable A. During this transfer, gas having passed a charging valve 10 from a gas distributor 5 is charged in the cylinder T, and the gas flow at the gas charging time is measured by a flowmeter 9. In such a charging device, an air distributor 6 and an electricity distributor 7 are installed at the center part on the turntable A, and a solenoid valve and a controller 33 are disposed around the distributors 6, 7. An address memory corresponding to a cylinder placing part is set to the controller 33, and the solenoid valve is controlled according to the gas charging quantity stored every address of the memory.
