PURPOSE:To dissipate ammonia and nitrous acid and to prevent a drastic decrease in pH and consumption of a large quantity of oxygen by adsorbing away NH4<+> derived from excreta, etc., of aquatic living things with zeolite and converting naturally generated NO2<-> to NO3- by addition of nitric acid bacteria. CONSTITUTION:The NH4<+> is adsorbed away with the zeolite and the NO2<-> is converted to the NO3- by addition of the nitric acid bacteria in the case of purifying water for breeding living things in which the NH4<+> derived from the excreta, etc., of the aquatic living things and the naturally generated NO2<-> are accumulated. For example, the oxygen necessary for the living things is supplied by an artificial lung 6 with a breeder of a perfect hennetic type assuming cosmic experiments. The zeolite 2 and active carbon 3 are respectively mounted in a breeding tank 1 for the purpose of water purification. Further, the breeding water is supplied at a specified temp. at all times via a heat exchanger 5 by a water circulating pump 4. As a result, the ammonia and nitrous acid in the breeding water are dissipated and the drastic decrease in the pH and the consumption of a large quantity of oxygen are prevented. |
