PURPOSE:To provide a chuck device capable of giving good cutting force and good axial direction holding force to a tool. CONSTITUTION:In a chuck device which holds the base part 1a of a tool 1 by an expanding and contracting jaw member 2, recessed and projected parts which fit to each other are provided at the base end of the tool 1 and at the abuting part, on which the base end of the tool 1 abuts when the tool 1 is fitted to the chuck device, and the angle between a rising face and an end face on opposite sides of the recessed and projected parts is set at an acute angle. |
