PURPOSE:To allow the system to select instantaneously an optimum repeater station not manually and to allow the selection system not to provide limitation to communication quality. CONSTITUTION:Reception sections 11a, 11b,... of repeater stations 10a, 10b,... generate an electric field detection signal representing a reception level of a radio signal from a mobile equipment. Electric field signal synthesis sections 13a, 13b,... output a synthesis signal providing information of the electric field detection signal to be generated before a transmission signal leading to a base station 20 from a mobile equipment to the base station. The base station uses any of electric field information detection sections 42a, 42b,... to extract the electric field information from the synthesis signal from each repeater station. Then a selection control section 44 discriminates a highest level of electric field information to apply changeover control to a channel between the base station and the repeater station relating to the electric field information thereby setting up the communication. |
