PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of cracks between a porous sintered compact and other constituent member when heating and cooling are carried out and to impart stability to the sintered compact. CONSTITUTION:Atoms of one or more kinds of metals selected among Cu, Fe, Ti and Zn have been substd. for part of Mn atoms, preferably 0.02-20% of Mn atoms at the B site of lanthanum manganite forming a porous sintered compact. The dimensional shrinkage of this sintered compact caused by a heat cycle between room temp. and 1,000 deg.C is <=0.01% per one heat cycle. |
