PURPOSE:To produce a core-containing ham free from separation or generation of a gap between the core and the ham body and capable of giving a sliced ham excellent in visual appearance and mouth feeling by inserting a specified core material into a material for ham, etc., heat treating it and strongly bonding the core material to the ham body, etc. CONSTITUTION:This core-containing ham or core-containing sausage is produced by inserting a core material composed of a frozen rod-shaped uncooked meat into a fresh-meat-state ham or sausage material having a shape of a completed ham or sausage from the longitudinal end part of the ham or sausage material and then heat treating it. |
