PURPOSE:To provide an information terminal end its control method which can easily and quickly select a brand and can display its stock price even if the brand code, etc., are not known. CONSTITUTION:An external keyboard 21 which can input the brand names in KANA (Japanese syllabary), KATAKANA (square form of Japanese syllabary) and KANJI (Chinese character) is connected to an operating part 20. When a brand name input mode is designated to a control part 10 through the part 20, a data editing part 16 rearranges the data on the stock price information stored in a data storing part 14 in the brand names. Then the part 16 retrieves and selects the brand of the input name out of the edited data after the brand name is inputted through the keyboard 21 and then writes the selected brand in a display memory 18. In such 8 constitution of an information terminal and its control method, the selected brand name and its stock price are shown at a display part 22 by the control of a display control part 19. |
