PURPOSE:To provide a cleaning device for an image forming device provided with a seal member which can be brought into contact with a photoreceptor without forming a gap between the seal member and a photoreceptor, without scraping developer left on the photoreceptor and without damaging the photoreceptor even when tensile force in the length direction is imparted to the seal member for receiving the developer. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning device of an electrophotographic device is constituted as follows. A slender fitting member is bent to be an arched-state and the film-like seal member 120 is stuck to face upward by sticking the base edge side thereof to the fitting member. Thereafter, the flexure of the fitting member is released and the tensile force in the length direction is imparted to the leading edge side of the seal member 120. Besides, the leading edge side is made to abut on the surface of the photoreceptor and the developer left on the photoreceptor and eliminated by a cleaning member after transfer is prevented from falling outside by the seal member 120. The seal member 120 is shaped so that the height of the central part 120a thereof is lower than both end parts 120b by almost the flexure amount of the central part of the fitting member. |
