PURPOSE:To suppress the sudden fluctuation of cylinder internal pressure over a relatively wide range by forming an opening between an intake port and a delivery port, and providing valve members for adjusting the opening area of a passage between the opening and the delivery port. CONSTITUTION:In an axial pump reciprocating a piston inserted in the cylinder hole of a cylinder block being rotatably engaged with a cam plate, a valve plate with which the cylinder block provided with plural cylinder holes around a rotary shaft comes in sliding contact is provided with an intake port 71 to which a cylinder port in an intake stroke is opposed, a delivery port 72 to which a cylinder port in an delivery stroke is opposed, and a small opening 73 opened between both ports 71, 72. The delivery port 72 and the small opening 73 are connected to each other by a passage provided in the parallel connected state with a first throttle valve 10 narrowed when the angle of the cam plate is large and widened when the angle of the cam plate is small, and a second throttle valve 11 narrowed when supporting pressure reversely corresponding to the rotating speed of the pump is high and widened when the supporting pressure is low. |
