The invention relates to a shaft comprising at least one module which is composed of a base element, a linking element joined thereto, and means for fixing the module in a layer of earth surrounding the module. Preferably, sealing means are accommodated between the modules, said sealing means being made of flexible material. In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the fixing means are formed by a flange which surrounds the linking element and is supported by reinforcement elements running radially.
