PURPOSE:To easily manage the small trouble of an image forming device by providing an EEPROM on a cartridge and reading out/processing data stored in an EEPROM with a management device. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device 2 has a detecting means detecting the size, number, jamming and error of a recording paper formed with an image by the sensors of each part and data in sequence and the state of the image forming device 2 detected by the detecting means is transmitted to the EEPROM attached to the cartridge 1 by serial communication. Then, the data showing the state of the image forming device 2 is read out from the EEPROM and processed. At least one of the result of the processing by a processing means and the state of the image forming device 2 is displayed. Therefore, a manager can know the state of the image forming device even if the manager is in a remote place to enable more fine countermeasure for the trouble, etc. |
