SIGNAL PROCESSING WITH DSP-BASED CPU

PURPOSE: To execute system control and signal processing functions by a CPU of a DSP base. CONSTITUTION: The CPU 42 of a DSP base loads a program including a system control instruction and a signal processing instruction stored in an external memory 56 and responds to the program. The CPU 42 receives an instruction from a user interface such as a keyboard based upon the system control instruction, executes communication with various peripheral equipments such as a display device and the external memory 54 and controls these equipments. The signal processing instruction includes algorithm and data for executing various digital signal processing operation corresponding to digital information related to one or more analog signals.
