<p>PURPOSE:To provide the unmanned operation control system for automatic travel carts of golf links. CONSTITUTION:The automatic travel cart is a cart which moves forward on a determined track by a fairway of each hole and a sensor for transmission which is mounted on the cart and has high directivity is rotated and moved horizontally by several degrees (about 5-40 deg.) toward the fairway at intervals of several seconds; and an ultrasonic wave is sent by the sensor for transmission and its reflected wave is received by a sensor for reception. If this reflected wave has waveform disorder (as compared with the sent wave), it is considered that the reflected wave is reflected by a player. When the waveform is not disordered, on the other hand, the operation is repeated. Once the player is caught, the distance is calculated from the time delay of the reflected wave. Thus, the distance between the cart and player is found, so the cart is moved when the distance becomes larger than a certain distance. The operation is repeatedly performed to place the cart in unmanned automatic operation simultaneously with the movement of the player.</p> |
