A heat shrinkable package which is easy to open is obtained by wrapping an article being packaged with a heat shrinkable film, fusing the edges of the film to seal the same, and subjecting the film to heat shrinkage, and is characterized in that a projecting piece for opening is formed by cutting an edge of the film at least one location of the fused and sealed portion of the film to form a cut sealed portion and subjecting the edges of the film to heat shrinkage, and a mark is put on a portion of the projecting piece for opening or around the same if desired.
