PURPOSE:To make possible the execution of continuative polling in every stated period even if a terminal has once become a no responce condition by adding a continuative polling function to an automatic polling function. CONSTITUTION:A polling list is received 2 from CPU and the control byte in it is discriminated by discrimination circuit 3, whether the bite is a one for continuative polling or not. In case of the byte for continuative polling, the condition of timer 6 which decides the interval of continuative polling is discriminated by timer discrimination circuit 4; when the timer is stopped, it is started and, in case of the timer in operation, an automatic polling command is finished 7. When the time set point of timer 6 is over, the polling sequences on and after the control byte are transmitted and, when the time set point is not over, the polling lists on and after the control byte are skipped. |
