This invention relates to a filter device for filtration of ventilation air in buildings and dust separation in industrial process air, comprising a filter frame and a filter module insertable in the frame. According to the invention the filter device is characterized in that the filter frame (1) is made of a biological fibre material and that the filter module (2) comprises a biological fibre material containing flax and/or cotton and/or wool, whereby the filter device is possible to destruct without any harmful influence on the environment.
