PURPOSE: To provide a terminal crimper device, which can accurately detect the crimp pressure of a wire, which is connected to the crimp terminal, at a ram side thereof so as to freely change a crimp dies thereof. CONSTITUTION: A terminal crimper device 40 is formed of a base 42, which has a crimp anvil 48, and a movable column 44, which can be reciprocated in relation to the base 42. A cantilever beam member 54, which has pressure sensors 70-76, and a crimp bar 50, which is connected to the cantilever beam member 54, are attached to the movable column 44. When a terminal on the crimp anvil 48 is crimped by the crimp bar 50, pressure is transmitted to the cantilever beam member 54 and the pressure is detected by the pressure sensors 70-76 so as to control the crimp pressure of the wire at an optimal value. |
