CNC-controlled lathe for machining of asymmetrical workpieces

The CNC controlled lathe has a tool carriage arranged on a transverse carriage (7) and carried in the X-direction. The tool carriage has one or more linearly arranged individual tool holders. The lathe further includes a machining spindle which is exclusively driven by a C-axis drive. A table interpolator depicting the workpiece geometry is integrated in the CNC-controller. A part removal device has a linear portal which extends in the machining space coaxial to the Z-axis and a workpiece holder and/or workpiece clamping device for admitting several workpieces.
