<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of deficiency in input of paper sheets to first and second collating trays, in a book binding device to contain and collate image-formed paper sheets in the first and second collating trays and heat the paper sheets by a tape heating means for binding. CONSTITUTION:Image-formed papers S are contained and collated in first and second collating trays 41, 42 by first and second flappers 36 and 37 and bound by tape heating devices 56 and 57. When it is detected by detecting sensors S1 and S2 that the height of a paper sheet bundle in the first or second collating tray attains a given thickness, subsequent paper sheets are contained and collated in the other tray and discharged to a stacker or the outside of a device without being bound.</p> |
