PURPOSE:To enhance the transmission density of an image part without lowering the light transmissivity of the non-image part of a transparent thermal recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A transparent thermal recording medium is constituted by laminating a first thermal layer 2 based on an electron donating color forming compd., an electron acceptive compd. and a binder resin and changed from a colorless or light-colored state to a developed color state by heating, a second thermal layer 3 changed from a transparent state to an opaque state by heating and a surface protective layer 1 on a transparent support 4. |
