PREPARATION METHOD OF SELENIUM CONTAINING YEAST CELLS

A selenized yeast is prepd. by i) innoculating 0.1 ppm or more selenium-contg. YM medium with saccharomyces uvarium, ii) fermenting it at 30 deg. C, 1 vvm and 500 rpm for 8 hrs., iii) adding selenium salt and 5 g/l glucose into the fermented broth, iv) re-fermenting the obtd. mixed broth at 27-28 deg. C, 1 vvm and 500 rpm for 16 hrs., and filtering, and v) washing the obtd. filtrate and drying to obtain the yeast cell containing selenium.
