PURPOSE:To reproduce a vehicle traveled, way after completion of the travel by providing a travel way data recording means to record travel way data of a vehicle and regenerate it. CONSTITUTION:A location processing part 1 is composed of a GPS, for example, to computation-process the position, speed, bearing, etc., of a vehicle, and output these into a display processing part 2 through a changing switch 6. The processing part 2 reads a map corresponding to the vehicle position from a map data base 3, and displays 4 it in a proper scale. The processing part 2 also displays 4 the current vehicle position on the displayed map. A travel way data recording part 5 receives travel way data from the processing part 2 to be recorded during run of the vehicle. During the run of the vehicle, the switch 6 is changed to the processing part 1 side, the current position of the vehicle is displayed 4 by a signal from the processing part 2, and records 5 vehicle position data simultaneously. In regenerating the traveled way data, the switch 6 is changed to the recording part 5 side. Regeneration is possible from a desired position. |
