PURPOSE:To reduce fluctuation of sensitivity due to change of humidity when exposed to light in high humidity by sensitizing silver halide grains with selenium, tellurium, or gold and incorporating a specified dye in a photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material contains silver halide grains containing >=95mol% silver chloride sensitized with Se, Te, or Au in at least one silver halide emulsion layer formed on a support and it contains the dye represented by the formula in which each of R1-R4 is H or a substituent, and at least one of (R1 and R3) and (R2 and R4) has an atomic weight sum of <=160; n is 0, 1, or 2; and MF is H or an alkali metal atom. The silver halide emulsion layers comprise cyan, magenta, and yellow color developing layers and each contain a dye in a molecularly dispersed state.
