摘要 PURPOSE:To calculate an exact running distance by detecting a slip period from a minimum axle speed, a reference speed and the acceleration characteristic of a speed change means and by determining a running distance for the slip period on the basis of a measuring time and the average value of the reference speed at the time of the start of the measurement and at the time of the end thereof. CONSTITUTION:An automatic operation controller 10' sets an acceleration and a deceleration to be references for each prescribed sampling period and sets a reference speed on the basis of them. Besides, it sets the value of the axle speed determined as the minimum out of those of axles l to 4 as a minimum speed. When the axle speed rises rapidly and a difference between the minimum axle speed and the reference speed reaches a reference value at the time of ordinary running, the vehicle concerned is regarded as being in a four-axle slip state and a value of a timer showing a slip time is added. When the minimum axle speed turns from a rise to a fall and a differential value of the minimum axle speed coincides within a prescribed error range with a prescribed acceleration shown by the data on the acceleration characteristic of mosscon notch 11, the slip state is regarded as ended and a running distance in a fouraxle slip period is calculated from an integrated value of the timer showing the slip time.
