The insole integrated into the shoe is air-cushioned and orthopaedically shaped or contains one or more sections, with an elongated foot-shaped bag or cover (1) filled with granules (2) of lightweight, fluid, flexible material. The side of the insole facing away from the wearer has a flexible fixed sole. The insole with various sections can be made of different materials and have varying cross-sections. The insole or sections can be joined by adhesive or sewn strips.
