<p>PURPOSE:To confirm the nondefective state of 8 back-up power supply even in an actual working mode while the power is supplied from a main power supply. CONSTITUTION:A power back-up device is provided with a main power supply 5 which supplies the power to a back-up subject element 3, a beck-up power supply 6 which is charged by the power supply 5 and supplies the power to the element 3 when the supply voltage of the power supply 5 drops, a charging discontinuing means 7 which discontinues the charging of the power supply 6 when the power is supplied from the power supply 5, a voltage detecting means 10 which detects the voltage of power supplied from the power supply 6 when its charging is discontinued, and a deciding means 1 which decides the nondefective state of the power supply 6 besed on the voltage detected by the means 10.</p> |
