Mobile telephone system for mobile and stationary telephone networks

The mobile telephone system has each mobile telephone (24) assigned a location identification number (03641) for a stationary connection point (14, 12) to the telephone network upon initial installation, together with a call number (309-123). These numbers are held in a programmable memory incorporated in the mobile telephone, the programme manipulating the numbers in dependence on the location of the mobile telephone, relative to the stationary and mobile telephone networks, for establishing the required call.
