PURPOSE: To provide a double-sided original handling device for feeding an original sheet from an original sheet supply part to a still type exposure position, moving the original sheet through there and scanning it by a linear CCD array. CONSTITUTION: A double-sided original sheet is fed from an exposure station 16 to a loop 36 from a front end first and returned to the exposure station 16 for the exposure of the opposite side of the sheet while the front end is kept at the first. The original sheet is moved through the exposure station 16 in a reverse direction for the exposure of the two sides. The loop 36 is provided with a size for receiving one sheet of the original of a large size, a book size for instance, or the two sheets of the original sheets of a small size, a letter or legal size for instance. |
