<p>The invention relates to a printing apparatus for offset printing with a toner, having a forme cylinder (1), a transfer cylinder (4) and an impression cylinder (7). A web (6) of printing carrier is moved between the transfer cylinder (4) and the impression cylinder (7). On its outer surface, the forme cylinder (1) has a transfer medium (2) which is preferably a ferroelectric. The transfer medium (2) is covered by a toner deposit (3) which represents an image to be printed and is intended to be applied to the web (6) of printing carrier by the offset method. According to the invention, the toner deposit (3) is deposited onto the web (6) of printing carrier by electric influence. For this purpose, a negative direct voltage is applied to the impression cylinder (7), which leads to a voltage likewise being applied to the forme cylinder (1) and the transfer cylinder (4), such that the toner particles situated on the transfer medium (2) are attracted to the web (6) of printing carrier. <IMAGE></p> |
