PURPOSE:To reduce cost by simplifying an interlocking mechanism for restraining the shift of a main transmission during the time from the start of selection operation of a subtransmission to completion, as for a multistage transmission equipped with the subtransmission. CONSTITUTION:The first and the second solenoid valves 23a and 23b which are opening/closing-controlled by a low/high selector switch 21 are arranged in an air pipe 22 between an air source 53 and an air cylinder 50 for controlling a subtransmission. Further, the subtransmission selection detecting switches 24a and 24b for detecting the high/low selecting operation by the air cylinder 50 for controlling the subtransmission and the third solenoid valve 26 which is arranged in an air pipe 25 between the air source 50 and the power shift cylinder 40 of a main transmission 1 and restrains the speed change operation of the main transmission 1a by cutting off the air supply during the time from the start of the selection operation of the subtransmission 1b to completion are provided. |
