The support (1) is fitted with an ultrasonic transmitter and/or receiver unit connectable to a control appts. by a cable brought out from the housing (2, 2a, 4). The support is also fitted with a transmitter (5) of optical and/or acoustic signals, which indicates the operational readiness of the indicator. The housing comprises a section, transparent for the transmitted signals. Pref. a lamp (5) is provided on the support for emitting light into the environment via a transparent housing section. Alternatively, the support carries a buzzer giving an acoustic signal to the environment via an aperture. The lamp may be replaced by at least one LED.
