<p>A cleaner for impression cylinders having a 10-95 parts by weight alcoholate-based composition prepared from a strong base and a primary alcohol in at least a stoichiometric amount. The strong base is preferably caustic soda or potash, and the primary alcohol is preferably a lower alcohol such as methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, 2-ethoxyethanol or 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethanol. Said cleaner may also contain one or more of the following components: a solvent, a lower polyol, a detergent, a neutral or alkaline water-soluble salt, and water.</p> |
