<p>PURPOSE:To provide a vibration control device to provide a cushioning effect and a rolling guide unit having a vibration control device by providing a slide member over a given track rail surface and a press means to press the slide member against a surface and have a variable press force. CONSTITUTION:A vibration control unit 8 is provided with a fluid injecting and withdrawing means to inject and withdraw oil in and from a seal chamber 34, and a drive force exerting means to exert a drive force on a piston rod 37 by the liquid injecting and withdrawing means and oil itself as fluid to be handled. Further, a vibration control device comprises the drive force exerting means; a driven piston rod 37; a casing 31; and a press means to press a slide member 42 against the surface of the track rail 5 and in this case toward an upper surface by peripheral small parts related thereto. Thus, even when any vibration is exerted, reliable vibration damping is practicable.</p> |
