PURPOSE:To eliminate a release time lag corresponding to the time required for supplementarily charging a strobe and simultaneously to improve the energy efficiency of a battery. CONSTITUTION:A control means 17 executing a diaphragm correction and setting into a release allowable state, when the strobe charging voltage obtained by charging voltage detecting means 5 and 17 is a prescribed voltage capable of emitting light or above and a stop value calculated from a strobe guide number corresponding to the strobe charging voltage, ISO information and subject distance information is discriminated to be in the diaphragm correctable range of the camera is provided and when this stop value is in the diaphragm correctable range of the camera, the diaphragm correction is attained to get ready for releasing, without supplementarily charging the strobe. |
