Disclosed are a method, system and device for feeding back space combination configuration acknowledgement information, which relate to the technical field of wireless communications and are used to flexibly configure information about whether or not to carry out space combination on the acknowledgement information about a downlink carrier for a terminal. In the present invention, a base station first determines whether or not a terminal needs to carry out space combination on the acknowledgement information about a downlink carrier; and then the base station, according to the determination result, sends to the terminal the configuration information about whether or not to carry out space combination on the acknowledgement information about the downlink carrier. By using the present invention, the base station can flexibly configure the terminal to carry out space combination on the acknowledgement information about the downlink carrier or not as required.
