PURPOSE:To facilitate surface flaw detection for objects to be inspected having various types of diameter. CONSTITUTION:An object supporting unit U for rotating an object R to be inspected having a cylindrical surface layer around the shaft comprises object supporting rollers 6, 7 and 8, 9 which can be replaced by a roller having different outer diameter. The rollers 6, 7 and 8, 9 are carried on the opposite ends of a drive shaft 1 and a driven shaft 2 disposed rotatably at a predetermined interval on a pair of horizontal lines. The supporting rollers 6, 7, 8, 9 are replaced by a roller having different outer diameter depending on the outer diameter of the object R to be inspected so that the position (height) of the top surface (highest surface) of the object R is kept constant. The top surface of the object R is irradiated with inspection light from an inspection light irradiator 11 and the light receiving view of a light receiving sensor is set on the top surface of the object R. |
