<p>PURPOSE:To accurately check the output voltage of a battery when a power source is applied and to accurately detect a state where the abnormality of memory to be backed up occurs. CONSTITUTION:This equipment is provided with a first transistor 48 which controls the supply of a charge current to the battery 57, and an auxiliary charge circuit which guarantees the minimum operating voltage of a voltage detection circuit 60 and also, supplies an auxiliary current with voltage lower than the minimum guarantee voltage of a RAM 46 to the battery 57 and the voltage detection circuit 60 and constituted of a sixth resistor 62, a second Zener diode 63, and a third diode 64. The equipment is constituted in such a way that the first transistor 48 is set in a state to be turned off when the power source is applied, and the off-state of the first transistor 48 can be continued until check whether or not the low battery state of the battery 57 is set by a detection signal outputted from the voltage detection circuit 60 is completed.</p> |
