<p>Data processing system (S) comprising a first data processing unit (UC1) and first non-volatile data storage means (D1, DM). The system further comprises at least one other secondary data processing unit (UC2) and second non-volatile data storage means (D2) which are independent from the first non-volatile storage means (D1, DM); the secondary unit(s) (UC2) are arranged for processing data stored in said first non-volatile storage means (D1, DM) without interfering in the operation of the first processing unit (UC1). The data processing system of the invention is for use, in particular, in retail points-of-sale such as pharmacies, travel and car rental agencies.</p> |
