Rear mudguard for bicycle

The mudguard (1) is designed to protect the rider of a bicycle from mud thrown up by the rear wheel. It can be slid upwards on a telescopic guide to enlarge the opening, and it may be completely detachable using a quick-action fastener, or hinged in different directions. Adjustment can be electric, pneumatic, or by rope or spring, and the mudguard can be secured in different positions by a magnet or locking balls.
