A high foaming, light duty, liquid detergent with desirable cleansing properties and mildness to the human skin comprising four essential surfactants: a water soluble nonionic surfactant, a C8-18 ethoxylated alkyl ether sulfate anionic surfactant a C10-C20 paraffin sodium sulfonate surfactant, a C8-C18 alcohol sulfate surfactant and the balance being water.
