PURPOSE:To produce the tools for calcination excellent in the prevention of degradation of a thermally sprayed layer and durability, inexpensive and light in weight by forming the yttria-stabilized zirconia material thermally sprayed layer on the surface of a specified magnesia based material. CONSTITUTION:The yttria-stabilized zirconia powder having 5.0-15wt.% yttria content and 5-60mum average grain size is thermally sprayed using a plasma spraying device on the surface of the porous magnesia based material 2 containing 95-100wt.% MgO and the silica, calcia, etc., as other inevitable components and having a specific gravity of 1.8-2.8 and 21-50% porosity to form the thermally sprayed layer 3 having 0.1-1.0 thickness, and thereby the tools for calcination is obtained. |
