PURPOSE:To obtain highly efficient magnetic recording by supplying recording current always constant at its frequency. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal current i1 inputted from an input terminal 1a is compensated at its distortion or the like generated at the time of transmission by an equalizer circuit 2 and then attenuated at the periphery of frequency f1 by a trap circuit 2 and the output of the circuit 2 is sent to a constant current driving circuit 4 constituting a current supplying means 7. The circuit 4 has characteristics resonating around the frequency f0 and increasing an input current larger than a recording current at other hands, but a recording current l2 outputted from the circuit 4 is fixed independently of the frequency because a recording current l2 inputted to the circuit 4 is previously attenuated around the frequency f0. Then, magnetic recording in a magnetic tape 9 is executed by a magnetic head into which said fixed recording current i2 flows. |
