PURPOSE:To obtain a skin detergent, excellent in effects on removal of makeup, simultaneously foamable by adding water thereto and capable of imparting refreshing touch to the skin after use thereof. CONSTITUTION:This skin detergent contains (A) an ethylene oxide adduct polyoxypropylene glycol-based surfactant having a fundamental structure expressed by formula I [(b) and (c) are each an integer], preferably a compound having 10-40% ratio of the ethylene oxide expressed by formula II, 950-4000 molecular weight of the polyoxypropylene group and 3-15 HLB or a compound, expressed by formula III and having 10-40% ratio of ethylene oxide and (B) an amphoteric surfactant and/or a semipolar surfactant, e.g. cocoylamidopropy1 betaine at a weight ratio (A):(B) within the range of (2:1) to (1:8), preferably (1:1) to (l:8) in the total amount of both within the range of 1-80wt.%. |
