PURPOSE:To almost uniformize a reformation reaction in the whole region of a reformation catalyst layer for the effective reformation reaction by substantially uniformly generate the heat of combustion reaction in the whole region of a combustion catalyst layer. CONSTITUTION:In a fuel-reforming device having a structure in which reforming catalyst layers 93 carrying a reforming catalyst for converting a gaseous fuel 300 into a reformed gas on the inner wall or charged with the reforming catalyst therein and combustion catalyst layers 94 carrying a combustion catalyst for burning a combustion gas 200 on the inner wall or charged with the combustion catalyst therein are alternately laminated through bulkheads 92, the density of the combustion catalyst in the combustion catalyst layer 94 is gradually increased from the upstream side of the combustion gas 200 toward the downstream side. |
