PURPOSE:To expedite mounting work of an indoor unit of an air-conditioner and improve safety of its mounting work by disposing a spacer between an indoor unit main body and a decorative panel, providing a communicating passage, through which air which has exchanged heat with a refrigerant in an indoor heat exchanger flows, in the vicinity of an outer periphery of the decorative panel and providing a filter housing space for housing a filter at the central part of the decorative panel. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 1 is provided between a decorative panel 8a and an indoor unit main body 4 of an air-conditioner, and this spacer 1 is formed of a material having elasticity and heat insulating properties such as, for example, low-expandable polyethylene, etc. Accordingly, the spacer 1 is deformed by clamping at the time of the mounting thereof, and air leakage can be prevented without using a special-purpose device. Further, since a filter 9 can be held by the decorative panel 8a, the spacer 1 can be lightened in weight, and installation work can be completely done by one worker alone, whereby working efficiency and safety can be improved. |
