<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a water-base ink composition for a ball-point pen not suffering from the insolubilization of the dye and the coagulation of the pigment, having desirable viscosity, scarcely forms blobs and can give stable writing. CONSTITUTION:The ink composition essentially consists of a colorant, water and a compound of the formula and/or a salt thereof, guar gum and/or xanthan gum and has a pH in the range of 5.5-11.</p> |
