<p>PURPOSE:To easily alter the drying degree of org. waste by providing a regulating means to the position of the discharge port for discharging org. waste from a final treatment tank storing org. waste to ferment the same so as to be capable of regulating the lower end height of the discharge port. CONSTITUTION:In an org. waste treating apparatus wherein org. waste 2 is finally stored in a third treatment tank 8 through first and second treatment tank 6, 7 to be completed in fermentation, the org. waste 2 after the completion of fermentation is floated in the third treatment tank 8 because it becomes light by the evaporation of the greater part of moisture thereof. Next, the org. waste overflows the lower end part of a discharge port 14 to be discharged to the outside. In this case, a regulating member 37 for regulating the height of the lower end of the discharge port 14 is provided to the side wall of the third treatment tank 8 and guided along a pair of the guide members provided inside the side walls thereof so as to rise and fall. By regulating the height of the lower end part 14a of the discharge port 14, the stagnation time of the org. waste 2 in the third treatment tank 8 is altered to rationalize a drying degree.</p> |
