PURPOSE:To obtain a polyolefinic fiber having excellent flame-retardancy as well as high-temperature light-resistance and resistant to discoloration with gas. CONSTITUTION:This flame-retardant polyolefinic fiber contains 0.7-6wt.% (based on the total fiber) of a tris(tribromoneopentyl) phosphate as a flame-retardant, 0.35-6wt.% of an antimony compound as a flame-retarding assistant and 0.1-1.5wt.% of poly[[6-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)imino-1,3,5-triazin-2, 4- diyl]](2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) imino)] as a light-resistant agent. The high- temperature light resistance is further improved by adding 0.05-1wt.% of a phosphorus-based antioxidant as a light-resisting assistant. A fiber having excellent discoloration resistance with gas can be produced by using an alkyl phosphate salt as a surface-treating agent. |
