CORRUGATED HORN

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a corrugated horn which can work in three frequency bands by setting different widths between the opening side and the inner side of at least one of two corrugation grooves of different types. CONSTITUTION:This corrugated horn consists of the staircase-shaped corrugations 2 and the simple corrugations 3 which are alternately continuous. The width A1 of the opening side is different from the width B1 of the inner side is regard to the corrugation groove of the corrugation 2. The lowest frequency of bands Ku and 30GHz are set at 12.25GHz and 27.5GHz (about 1:3) respectively and therefore actuated by the corrugation 2. Meanwhile a band of 20GHz is actuated by the corrugation 3. Thus a wide-band corrugation horn can work in three frequency bands by continuation of both corrugations 2 and 3. The corrugation 2 may has a shape where the inner width is larger than the opening width.
