PURPOSE:To perform the write of data on nonvolatile memory at a high speed by selecting and erasing a data block in flash memory in accordance with the data block in which the write bit of cache memory is set and no erased bit is set. CONSTITUTION:A block selection part 34 selects the data block corresponding to an entry in which the write bit is set and no erased bit is set in the entries in which the data blocks that belong to a flash memory chip other than the one detected by an access chip detecting part 33 are stored. An erasure control part 35 performs data block erasure in a flash memory array 1 on the data block in selected flash memory, and sets the erased bit of erasure object entry on the cache memory 2. An arbitration part 38 arbitrates the copy back of an access control part, an operation of cache entry update. and the erasure operation of the erasure control part 35 when mis-read or mis-write occurs.
